I love the imagery of TuscanyWhile parts were rather predictable， I feel like it draws me closer to the characters， like old friends。 After reading this I want to visit the Tuscany described throughout the story。The story is both beautiful and heart wrenching and drew me in page by page。

Who can resist a novel involving Tuscany， wine， vineyards and loveHaving been to Italy and Tuscany in particular it was easy to slip into the sunsets，fireflies and gracious people， early mornings， Depth of human emotion and amazing culinary exploits。 But， this novel also addresses loyalty， selfishness， and forgiveness。 I hope you enjoy this ride as much as I did。 Hoorah to this author for creating a book of many values。

This was a wonderful and heartfelt story about what happens when secrets are kept in a family and are done so to protect and not hurt anyone。 But secrets always end up becoming reality and this was what happened with Fiona Bell。 On her mother’s bedside before she dies， she learns that that the man she called dad was not her biological father。 It turns out her real father was an owner of a vineyard in Tuscany， Italy， where her mother worked one summer before she was born and that， the man she cal This was a wonderful and heartfelt story about what happens when secrets are kept in a family and are done so to protect and not hurt anyone。 But secrets always end up becoming reality and this was what happened with Fiona Bell。 On her mother’s bedside before she dies， she learns that that the man she called dad was not her biological father。 It turns out her real father was an owner of a vineyard in Tuscany， Italy， where her mother worked one summer before she was born and that， the man she called dad was writing his first novel。 She learns all of this when she gets a call to say that her biological father has died and left her an inheritance， but she must come to Italy for the reading of the will。 And not only is this a shock to her but she also learns that she has siblings， a half-brother Conner and a half sister Sloane。 As Fiona navigates through Anton Clark， and Lillian and Freddie's summer in Tuscany， she also learns just what drew her mother drew to this wonderful Tuscan valley。 How the vines and the earth get into your soul。 I really， really loved this book and I think it was one of Julianne MacLean’s best books written。 She makes the vineyard， it’s people and Tuscany jump of the pages and into the reader's heart。 Makes you think that you are right there walking through the vines， savoring the aroma of the food served and the fragrance of the wine as it’s uncorked for your tasting。 But most of all she it makes you keep turning the pages to find out the what the secrets of the Tangled Vines reveals。 I give this a 5+++ star rating。 Thank you， Julianne MacLean， her publisher and Netgalley for allowing me the pleasure of reading and review this wonderful book。 。。。more

A lovely colorful book！Italy has always been on my bucket list for so many reasons。 I felt as if I was on an extended vacation reading this book。 I could smell the flowers and feel the sun and crispness in the air。 I think I may still have the taste of goid vintage wine on my lips and a flutter of love in my heart！

3。25。 Just ok。 In my opinion nothing deep or thought provoking。 An interesting tale of loss， love， secrets and family relationships。 The setting in a winery in Tuscany was divine and the author did a good job in making one really feel immersed in that part of Italy， with the culture， the land， the wine， and the food。 However， this novel seemed more in the lines of a Harlequin novel and way too contrived for my liking。

I liked the love story。The plot is repetitive involving poor females， rich handsome males， etc。 How about a story about two ordinary working people who fall in love and their life raising a family in Venice。 Their struggles of course， but l would love to read a story about the daily joy brought to the couple by raising their children。 Venice is exotic to the majority of the world。 A shop worker and a waiter can complain about a days good and bad customers。
